SEO panel

Open the SEO tab on the right rail. You’ll see a live readiness report for the current document.

What gets checked

The SEO panel runs these checks continuously as you edit:

  • Meta title — present and within length limits.
  • Meta description — present, within length limits.
  • Heading hierarchy — one H1 per page, no skipped levels (H1 → H3 with no H2).
  • Image alt text — every image asset has alt text.
  • Link count — roughly, a sane number of outbound links.
  • Readability — very long paragraphs flagged.

Each check reports pass (green), warning (amber), or error (red).

Auto-fix suggestions

Some checks offer an inline fix — for example, “add alt text to 3 images” with a one-click jump to each offending field.

SEO and publishing

By default the SEO panel is informational. Your developers can turn it into a publish gate — where errors block the Publish button. See Publish gates for how that’s configured.

Preview frame

Above the score, Blok shows a mocked Google search result preview with your title, URL, and description — so you can see how the page will look in search results before publishing.
